Yeah, I could see one reaction being "Great, in addition to everything else, I'm gonna get robbed".

There's been numerous times when we've been able to help our fellow travelers, and a couple when they've said hello (I meant help) is already coming. A few times I've wanted to stop and help but either the car was full, or I didn't feel safe with the family in tow given the situation I was seeing.

I try not to let my pre-conceived notions prevent me from doing good. But I do try extra hard to stop when I see someone that could be stereotyped by other motorists.

And... I always stop for a fellow rider, because it has been me!

Some folks still stop and help. Some will do you the favor of calling help for you.. Sadly too many just ignore you.

IN fairness.. There have been a few TV shows where someone staged a breakdown and robbed the good samaritan.

And there have been a few cases where bad folks watched those shows and decided to try it. So some folks see a break down and worry about personal security.

Can't say I blame 'em.

Sometimes people amaze us. With all the terrible things that happen now days and general lack of decency we are exposed to there is one thing i try to remind myself. In general for the most part people are still good and its actions like that and not the constant negative things covered in the news that give me hope. +1 human race, pay it forward.

Yea ,There are still good people..
my batery died when shoping at Home depot and soon as I poped the hood open some dude stoped by asking if I need a boost..
very surprising since most everyone drives around here in a big rush to get who knows where..
