Someone has changed it out!
Maybe the complete engine!
Look on the front face of the engine block, right side for the engine code.

1993 Brave Brochure

"454 V-8 Fuel-Injected Gasoline Engine"

Again, not saying it isn't carbureted. Just that it wasn't built that way.

The RV started life in RI, dunno, I bought it in 2014 Hudson, FL. Learned lots of expensive lessons about buying a used RV from a used RV dealer.

My 1990 Bounder had a 1989 454, it had similar problem, the culprate was a relay that provided priming to the carb and shut off while cranking and started again when oil pressure climbed. If you as you stated have a carb, you may have the same relay.

I installed(tempoarily)a fuel pressure guage and found that the pump ran fine until the engine warmed up, then it shut down.

The mechanical fuel piump could supply gas at low speeds but on acceleration the engine would starve out.

Two fuel pumps, one in tank, one on the block.

So it came with one in the tank? Model number of block or tank pump?

Mine is FI but;

I think you will find an inline fuel filter in the fuel line (on mine just behind the steps)on the frame rail I had the same problem and it was the filter.

The carburetor may also have a small filter at the very input to the carburetor.

Had a thought last night!
If some one changed to carb, it could be that the catalytic converter was overloaded and clogged.

Number one it is someone’s contention it was changed, not mine. There is no evidence it has been changed. One post showed in my model year they used carbs.
