This is our first year for both full timing & doing the snowbird 'thing'. We left our home base in the Niagara region, Ontario in mid-August. Currently in southern BC. We'll spend another week or 2 here before heading south towards Arizona. I'd head south sooner but we're trying to mind our P's & Q's regarding the 6 month limit stateside... [emoticon]

Hurricane Rosa broke the heat - really nice and pleasant now. We had to throw a flannel sheet on the bed as a blanket last night! [emoticon]. No A/C needed for the past few days!!!!

We are going to be first timer but plan to move around and see the Southwest. Going to attend the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous in January and then head east as far as Big Bend National Park and then return via New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California and Oregon. Plan to do lots of boon docking, birding, and sightseeing this awesome country of ours.

Some of those places aren't for winter... New Mexico, Northern Arizona, Utah, Nevada, No. Calif., Oregon. Are you visiting those places late spring?

We plan to be on the road from December to April. Want to spend a week at Organ Pipes, and maybe 2 weeks at Big Bend. The only place I was worried about was north of Silver City, but locals advised that while cold, we shouldn't have any problems with the roads. And if it snows we are prepared to just hunker down until its clear. So excited
