Hi all,

I am doing a woodworking project and was trying to find place the sells the window and doors that are on those amish made barn mailboxes. Tried googling all sorts of things but can't find them. I do not know what they are called. tried dollhouse supplies, hobby stores, googled 3 inch plastic window miniature. Just can't find them.[image]

Do they have to be plastic? It looks to me like the sort of thing that could be put together pretty easily with little strips of wood and some glue...persnickety work, perhaps, but not really hard.

I see a fair number of options searching eBay for Dollhouse Miniature Window (in the appropriate category).

Or maybe go to a doll house supply specialist, e.g. here or here. (I have no personal experience with either of these companies, but just found them with a wee bit of searching.)

It has to be weather proof. The fine wood that would be necessary would be greatly effected by the weather. I think the wood would require way too much maintenance.

Those are some of the options I saw in my search. I want a more folksy look that the “Amish” pieces provide.
