We are upgrading and one of our choices is a coach with an upstairs,, or front living room and a back bedroom. For those of them that already have them, just some of your thoughts, glad you did, wish you didn't etc. Lots of comments i am sure and we welcome them. Thanks in advance, Jeff & Karen

We had one. Every time you want to use the living area, up the steps. That got old quick. We also found it harder to keep temperature cool. Warm air rises. After 3 years, sold it.

That floor plan has been recycled since at least 2005. Usually lasts a year or so then disappears for a few. Just not popular due to the stairs and excess pin weight.

Bought one last year and love it. It separates the living room so we don't feel like we are sitting in the kitchen which is more like a house. As far as cooling, not a problem and if it was I would rather be a little warmer in the living room than the bedroom. As far as the stairs, you're going to have stairs one way or the other, if you want something from the kitchen in the middle of the night you're not going down stairs while half asleep.

Friends of ours just bought a 2018 KZ Gold with the front living room. They love it, in fact it’s their second trailer with the front living room. For them they’ll never go back.
We have the conventional floor plan, rear living room, front bedroom. We like this layout for the nice big rear window that affords us GREAT views most of the time!

We have a 2016 Pinnacle with front living. We absolutely love it! We like separation between living, kitchen, and bedroom. The only downside with a front living floor plan is the basement storage is less than a conventional floor plan. All things considering, I would make the same choice.

We have a Northpoint with the raised living room but it is in the rear. So far we like it, like another poster said it separates you from Kitchen area. Not a problem so far with cooling.
I love all the storage. There is a large storage basement under front bedroom and a super large storage under the raised living room in the rear.

We have looked at those but the drawback for us is losing the big rear window. We camp on lakes, etc. and truly enjoy the view from the back. Otherwise, we would probably consider one.
