We have looked at those but the drawback for us is losing the big rear window. We camp on lakes, etc. and truly enjoy the view from the back. Otherwise, we would probably consider one.

We still have a large rear window to look out. Except when we are watching TV. The TV is retractable so it does not block the window unless we have it up.

we really wanted a front living room until we started looking at them in person... Here are our dislikes:
- not a lot of outside awning space to sit under with the slide sticking out in the front AND rear
- usually smaller storage space underneath ( at least on the ones we looked at )
- kitchen usage when traveling was in question depending on model
- steps were not an issue, if going up 4 steps was an issue for me, Id have larger problems

Ya I thought I wouldn't have much storage but there is a lot on my hc 374. We can use the kitchen while travelling. I just have so much more room than my first rear living room trailer.

Friends like theirs. The only complaint they have is the front slides are short and they bump their heads.

We have the front living 38FLSA Jayco Pinnacle. Absolutely love the floor plan, fits us in every way. High ceilings in the kitchen and bath are great too. Theater seating with double couches, a 65" TV and a fireplace. Wouldn't change a thing.

I have one and my wife and I loved it.'16 Chaparral 370FL.Everyone complains about the stairs.I don't understand why.If you have a front bedroom, you climb the stairs to the bathroom.Really like the big kitchen and king size bed in the back whereit's usually alot quieter.Love the room as it's a 42' with 5 slides.Plenty of storage and under awning setting.

We looked at them and decided you loose too much storage space in the kitchen and bedroom. It also looses a lot of basement. Too many negatives to come close to the positives for a front bedroom.

Currently we have a rear living. We looked at the FWD or upstairs living. DW didn't care for the kitchen. Other than that it looked great for family and friends. Lots of room and seating. Pin weight is a little heavier I believe.

They are fine if you want them

The plus side is they look big, especially with opposing slides.

Personally I don't like the low ceilings in the room I'm going to spend most of my awake time in. I also don't like how the kitchen is completely separate and below since my wife likes to watch the boob tube while cooking or doing stuff. The areas feel very separate.

You can get rear living units that are just as big, still have the high ceilings and retain a separate living kitchen area without closing the two off to each other.

I think there are better floor plans.
