"The Semi islands (Back of the store) only take Fleet cards."

Never a problem for me, I use a credit card all the time.

I’ve exceeded the speed limit in all 50 states and all 12 provinces and territories in Canada and a dozen European countries.

Have done so for 30+ years..

It’s still illegal, and I could get stopped anytime.

The difference is, after buying a couple of tickets to the Policeman’s ball..... I’ll be on my way.

Getting pinched for overlength? You’re not going anywhere until you conform....

That would be a bad (read expensive) day.

You've not visited any of the same ones as I. None of the truck stop truck pumps I've had to use offer the pay-at-the-pump card reader. All require a trip inside. I certainly haven't visited every truck stop, and with an auxiliary tank I don't have to. Greatest Christmas gift ever from my wife: NO MORE TRUCK STOPS!! [emoticon]

Fueled up at Shoal Creek truck plaza Joplin Mo. 125 gallons in the truck lane and paid with a credit card at the pump.

A few dollar difference is WELL worth it to me knowing i can pull in and drive right back out with ZERO concern. Even without the MC trailer in tow I use the Truck Stops!

I'm 75' total an use nothing but truck stops, no problem paying with credit card

... And with just the right credit card you get 5% (per cent) off every gallon of fuel. That can range from 10-20 cents off every gallon - everywhere where credit cards are accepted for payment at the pump.

It's pretty tough to beat savings and convenience like that, so we use this approach for all of our vehicles all of the time.

^^^^ agree 100%, still don't understand the not being able to pay at the truck lanes with a credit card. Put 130,000 on my rig in 2.5 years and have never had a problem getting fuel in the truck lanes and paying at the PUMP. Oh well life is good.

We have put a total of about 120,000 miles on two class-A coaches in 12 yrs. I have never seen where the fuel station takes a regular credit card at the truck pumps.

I have an account with a truck fuel company that I've had for about 4 yrs. now. We receive .10 off of the CASH list price at Loves's and the regular cash price at other stations (Flying J, T/A, etc.). The funds are removed from my checking account at the end of the next business day.

For a receipt, I take a picture of the pump with my i-phone. DEF is charged at the regular cash price.

Before getting the fuel account, I would have to go inside to pay which was such a waste of time.

Safe travels,
MM.
