For folks who need to see what they are doing when scanning temperature.

I have no idea if this has high enough quality to be classified as "durable" Thermal imaging scanners in the 80's cost $10.000

Geez technology moves forward. Assuming it works. I can remember and not so long ago that a imaging scanner would be over $10,000 for an industrial unit.

These are the worst of times..

Pretty cool indeed.

I just looked Amazon and found ones that plug into your smartphone.. $200 and up.

You could check current carrying connections under load, all kinds of stuff.

I'd love to have a thermal scan done of my ride. It would help to know where to try to beef up insulation.

I’ve got an honest to goodness FLIR (brand) camera that piggy-backs off my iPhone or iPad.

It cost me ~$200 last year.

I vanished, myself, for a while. I'm so delighted that you are back :-).


3/4 timing in a DIY van conversion. Backroads, mountains, boondocking, sometimes big cities for a change of pace.
