This will wreck a peaceful night under the stars. Orbital Billboards
They are saying Pepsi is already onboard. Seems a horrible idea to me.

I think we all know that is not going to happen. But, it does bring up the question, who owns the sky?

From the article "A Russian company called StartRocket"

We got to do something about these Russians. Perhaps we can restrict the orbital billboards to over Russia.

Home is where I park it.

Even for the amazing advertising, especially for the first few companies that do it, the cost has got to be astronomical (ha!).

I need to read more about it... I'm not quite understanding how they are going to do it. Something about projecting onto mylar panels?

Why would anyone read the garbage from that website? Don't click on the link and have it cause problems with your computer.

wonder how big an orbiting billboard would have to be to be visible from Earth?

Sure sounds like a bad idea to me...

Just think if it is a word thing, it could bad mouth someone like WH officials are doing all the time and we all would see it every night every 90 minutes going around the Earth...

Geesch.....

At least there is one thing I don't have to worry about. I think I'll stick to fussing about the things that might actually happen.
