its time to replace them, running rough even a few backfires

Can’t lose with NGK. Wires your call, but keep high heat in mind. Might even invest in heat socks for the ends.

Over the years of owning Fords I've learned to stick with Motorcraft, OEM regardless if it's alternator's, water Pumps, coil over plugs, or whatever

Autolite AP25 Platinum is OEM. Probably out last the coach.

I've never been disappointed by Motorcraft parts. The originals last a long time and the vehicle is falling apart before the replacements go bad...

When it comes to vehicle electric items I've found OEM is the best.

I concur completely. AC Delco for GM, Motorcraft for Ford. Every time.

my autozone did not have the motorcraft sparkplugs in stock

but i did get a set of Autolite XP25 Iridium plugs
