Does anyone have any experience with Sailun truck tires? I'm looking at replacing my BFG All terrain tires and the dealer is telling me that Sailun are as good but cheaper.
Please do not dismiss them offhand just because they are Chinese, I'm looking for genuine observations, good or bad.
Thanks

We have Sailun load range G tires on the fifth wheel - very pleased with them at a little over 15K miles. The owner of the heavy-duty trailer business that installed the tires for us said that he had run a set of the Sailun LT tires on his truck and they did very well. Got crazy high miles out of them with zero issues.

Actually I'm not a one of the people that spout off "Do A Search". But in this particular instance it would work very well. There are a ton of posts on the Sailun tires. Many opinions, both positive and negative, both for trucks and for trailers.

And it's really kind of a dead horse, been beaten to death. The bottom line is they are an excellent tire.

Well, you get what you pay for. That's what I've learned over the years.

And sometimes you get more than what you've paid for. That's what I've also learned over the years. Price is not the only criteria for quality.

My life experience is that you often get upside surprises when you pay a fair price for quality goods. When you go cheap you often get downside surprises.

If you read my profile you will see I have a fifth wheel, and I thought it would be useful to get comments from people who also tow fifth wheels, but thanks anyway for your very astute comments.
