Difference between a professional driver and just a driver.

Yep. The second one is "that guy"! And why I go out of my way to park in the middle of nowhere.
Good job to the guy with the dump truck!

Even my MDT 24' flatbed dump truck needs two spots as this guy did. I think the most was pulling my equipment trailer behind it. that was 6?! Yeah a bit diaginal, but that is how it goes sometimes.

We park as far away from entrance as possible - leave a spot on both sides, no one near us ... then walk to store. Invariably, when we come out, we have someone on both sides, and no other cars near us. GO FIGURE !!

Same thing happens to us. Must be some herd mentality thing!

My dually barely fits between the parking lines but it is always within the parking lines. Most of the problem parkers I see in Tucson seem to have Sonora Mexico license plates.

I can make her fit in a tight spot...but I usually go out towards the end and don't worry if I'm exact because there are 10 open spots between me and the next vehicle.

I always love it when I see people park in the crosshairs of 4 spots. Hate to say but I think they are asking for damage vs trying keep from it.

I recently went to a busy hardware store, only to find the last 4 parking spots all occupied by a little Prius. If I could have figured out how to block them in....

I am just wondering how it would work out for the dump truck driver if traffic increased and people filled in the spots around him. He might find himself trapped for several hours. And there was plenty of parking around the pickup so what harm was done if he wasn't staying there very long? At least he didn't park like that up front.

I do agree with others though that Prius drivers seem to be some of the worst drivers around. I drove my RV to Yellowstone and it seemed that at most of the pulloffs there were Prius's in the RV spots even though in most cases there was plenty of car spaces available.

LOL!Not sure if our path to the coast the en of this month will take us over our favorite bridge, but if it does and the right vehicle goes over it, Prius or other sub-compact, I will share as they will hug, or cross the center line to avoid the rail on the edge of the roadway. I tow the 5er and 3500 DRW right down the center of the lane. It isn't a narrow lane, just has a rail right at the edge of the lane. It is a bit like driving country roads in Ireland.
