We're looking at a 2007 Holiday Rambler Alumascape 32SKT 5th Wheel.

How can we find out what type of winter package this unit may have? We have the serial number and was wondering if this info can be looked up online or do we have the phone the mfg?

The seller is the son of the owner (father passed away). When the adult son move the trailer he "scratched" the mailbox about 4 feet long. He's asking $16,000. What should the value be now with the damage? Thoughts?

Pros and Cons on a Holiday Rambler Alumascape? We know nothing about them, but the interior sure looked nice!

I have never owned one but all of the older ones I see on the road have been in great shape. Here is the link to Nada Guides for that model, but you need to go through the app and plug in the options to get a true value number.

Holiday Rambler was an excellent brand. They hold up well. Like every other manufacturer they have gone of out business several times and who ever holds the current rights to the name would know nothing about your particular unit. Try and get someone intimately familiar with RV's to inspect and give their opinion. In my personal opinion that price is extremely high. Try for some comparisons on the various used RV sites.

Looks like a nice unit:

Look up the value on the link the ReneeG provided making sure you take off an amount for the scratch the son put in it. I would also Google it and look at the ones currently for sale to get a range of what they are selling for. I did - saw lats of listings.

One thing to take into account is the tires. Check the date codes on them as you most likely will need new. Although one ad I saw stated that it came with "radial" tires - whatever that means - LT?

Post some pics if you end of buying it.

Good luck!

The HR series generally had a good reputation. However, it was not considered a 4-season trailer.

As for value look at the low retail price, no options added and then deduct for the damage. make sure the tires are less than 5 years old by the date code.

We owned this exact model but a 2006 year. Great camper with very few issues in the 10 years we had it. It was stored in a shop so that helps.
