Penn State/Iowa was a defensive battle & PSU came out on top. Joe Burrow led LSU to a two (2) TD victory over Florida "Gators!" Oklahoma beat Texas as an offensive game. All three games were very entertaining! I was surprised to see Minnesota hold Nebraska scoreless! Bags.

A great win by LSU over a very good Florida team but I saw large gaps in the defensive line when rushing the QB and a weak secondary. Florida was so close on several plays of scoring and the LSU interception in the end zone sealed the win. The slant plays by Florida was very successful. Sabin already has his game plan ready for LSU.
I was shocked by the Georgia loss.

Really, the Georgia defeat by South Carolina was a bad loss and I do NOT see Georgia making the Final Four! Georgia should have kept OSU's QB Justin Fields on the team. Very happy Charlie D's LSU Tigers won!

LSU ranked # 2 and that surprises me. I thought they would leap frog OSU since they were in a bye week and end up third behind Clemson and Alabama.
Of course that means nothing until they play Alabama.

No other way to slice it, the Gamecocks came to PLAY, especially on defense. The Dawgs are looking rather vulnerable now, especially when they face the Gators in Jax. The Gators brought more game to Baton Rouge than I expected. But Joe Burrow and Co. handled it. Another weekend of entertaining games.

If Dwayne Haskins disn't decide to come to Ohio State to Play football, Joe Burrow would have been Ohio State's QB, last year & this year, but it warms my heart to see him ball out at LSU!

I saw the one interview with Burrow before the LSU-FL game. Apparently, Joe Burrow would have played at Nebraska if they had only showed any interest.

U-S-C, GO *****! Muschamp has a fresh new pair of spectacles. He can now see what's going on. We came to play again Georgia. I hope we can keep the momentum going for Florida at home!
