The fifth wheel (yes, it was a fith wheel), the pickup and the vehicle that hit them are all in a salvage yard about four miles from my house. I drive by that area almost daily. Sad. But a message to all of us. Nothing is guaranteed.

People die every day on the roadways for a wide variety of reasons; speeding, alcohol, texting, road rage, etc. While tragic, what makes this one so special? Do we need to set up a new forum "road deaths" so everyone can read about all the traffic incidents?

Just like police officers, some feel we should discuss every death or injury before we start the shift. If truck drivers or nurses did this every day the shift would be over before the work started...

Please keep reporting RV accidents, hopefully with photos and/or videos. It's helpful to me, due to the fact that I analyze these accidents for the purpose of trying to learn something that might help me avoid accidents.

Don't be so sure. Maybe a fat and psychopathic wife will trash him within inches of his life if he doesn't read the forum. You never know. It's a crazy world out there!

Absolutely. For instance, on this one I learned if a couple has and argument and gets kicked out of a casino, don't drive on the same road they are driving on. You could be killed when they cross the centerline. That piece of knowledge is going to be so immensely beneficial to me. I'm going to sleep better at night now. Thanks Grey Mountain for the useful knowledge.
