This is NOT about Iran, it's about filling up a rig's gas tank and thereby keeping it full to avoid future shock. For us peons, it may save enough money for a spring outing.
So why post in Tech Issues? Maybe General or Around the Campfire?

I agree but how do you do that with a man-child as our Prime Minister blocking our own pipelines?

Do a little research. You may find that in the East, Quebec is the bottle neck. To the South (USA) we have no control over access. To the West the twinning of the existing line has to go through environmental hoops and hearings. (And no, I'm not a capital L liberal).

Agree on both points but time to get rid of the crooked, lying, entitled man child in October. Such an embarrassment to all Canadians but then I guess you get drama when you elect a drama teacher to lead the country.

Despite rumors to the contrary, the Sky is not falling...

Last October oil was around $75 bucks per barrel...

As of today, America has a whopping 650 Million bbls of oil resting peacefully in it’s strategic petroleum reserve (SA production is off 5.7m per day) and America has never produced more oil than it is producing today, now the number one energy producer in the World, which means energy independence, and no point in fool-hardy Wars for oil BS...

And thanks to clean burning natural gas (liberating via fracking technology), America’s CO2 emissions are lower than anytime in the past 10 years - ‘Green’ has already arrived, though media fear mongers dare not report because bad news is what sells and increases ad revenue.

Seems to me that the Trans Mountain extension is going ahead. What's blocked?

Oil is back down today. Panic is over. Half the spike is gone.

Oil Tumbles On Report Saudis Will Soon Recover 70% Of Daily Production

Oil slid on Tuesday after Reuters reported Saudi Arabia's oil production is expected to fully recover in two to three weeks.
