Looks like some pictures of a fix to the frame.

Some comments that possibly the camper tie downs were welded to the frame possibly weakening it. Seems to be right where it failed.

More Internet sleuthing....

Doing a Google Internet search shows the picture from Kayteg1 in the 3rd post has been floating around the Internet since at least 2014. Doing a search for RobG's picture at the top of the thread shows no appearance of that picture prior to a few days ago.

And I found a second video of it being driven. Too much video & picture evidence to support the theory this was all Photoshopped.

I’ve seen the video too. This is NOT a photoshop.
While I don’t know exactly what he did, I think it’s pretty likely this was road oscillation, excessive “porpoising” that managed to bend it.
I’ve been carrying an 11.5 camper while towing a 10,000 trailer with the same long trailer tongue arrangement for almost two decades, on three different duallies, a Chevy, a GMC and a Dodge.
Something crazy happened. It isn’t just too much for an F450.

The front tie-down comes near the frame where it is bent if the picture is real. They may have improperly drilled or even welded a tie down to the frame which would have weakened the frame there. It is a possibility.

Sure sounds like this was an owner induced problem.

I don’t like his fix, either.

But what is the TW? Can we be sure the frame would of not broken with just the camper?

More and more mystery.

It's still there for me.

Kinda hard to photoshop a video of the truck driving down the road. That would take tens of thousands of dollars worth of computer animation to achieve. Why would someone go through that much time effort and money on a hoax?

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.
