I don’t think this has been posted before, so I’m posting it now.

How do you do this much damage in a gas station?

MH hung up on gas island!!!!

Sorry that the RV'er had an accident.

BUT if the tow truck driver I called took videos and put it on the internet? Well...I'd be making a phone call about it to them and my attorney.

That is just poor driving 100 percent. The guy wasn't even close to clearing the island, and he still had a tow vehicle behind him. I think he should have done a few more practice laps at the empty mall parking lot before he headed out.

Remembering that truth is an absolute defense in most states, under what legal theory, Rock, would the tow truck driver be liable? The “privilege exception” has not yet been extended to tow truck drivers.

I don’t know about that! The guy was in public! It’s fair game at that point!

From other videos I have seen, videoing such events seems common procedure, probably so the damage is documented so the owner can’t claim the tow driver did some of the damage and start calling their lawyer. Too many sue happy people already.

As far as publicly posting, no difference than a news crew putting it on the 6 o’clock news.

Whether he was an unskilled driver or an experienced driver in a moment of inattention is pure speculation. No one here knows.

rockhill, where is the expectation of privacy if the accident was in public view. If the video/photos showed a tag number or faces of the driver or passenger then there might MIGHT be some standing of privacy expectation, but otherwise put your mney in the bank - the attorney has enough

Stranger how this went from the posting of an accident to how people can sue someone for being in public!
Let’s keep it on topic!

Wonder if that was a 3500 lb receiver the tow truck driver was lifting on? Did that MH have frame extensions? Kinda of scary stuff.
