You folks are just plain stupid.....
They didn't set up the AG inspection stations to harass you, they are trying to protect our resources.....
What happens when you bring an invasive species to a place where its not supposed to be, it kills our trees, our fish our agriculture...
I mean come on, you all like to come out west and see the beautiful scenery and stuff, eat the produce produced by California, eat the fish caught in the lakes and streams, oceans.....
Br refusing these inspections you have the potential to cause harm and damage to all these things...
The reason, you were probably singled out was cause yes you are from New York, but maybe its the fact that you are TRAVELING!! DUH....How do you think this **** gets to all these locations??? They hitch rides on boats, cars, RV's, Trailers, Trucks, Airplanes.. yada yada...

Et2, yes we are worried about bugs...and California’s ag future. Are you interested in Michigan’s future? Want my comments on Michigan? No? Just like you don’t understand California’s economy.

Your pulling the same trick as sovereign citizens thugs do when their asked to comply.
I guess you believe the sovereign citizen propaganda being put out by the government.
There are those stupid people claiming to be sovereign citizens that believe they are not subject to the laws of the United States.
People that stand up for their rights are being labeled by the government as "sovereign citizens".
The government will probably label me as a sovereign citizen, but I do believe in the rule of the law and in the Constitution of the United States. I don't give a dam* what they want to search. If they don't have probable cause, they ain't getting in and they ain't searching anything.
I've seen too many videos and television reports of cops planting evidence and framing people. It's not about a person having anything to worry about that they themselves have done, but what someone else may have done to them. I don't want to have to worry about anyone leaving something incriminating in my vehicles, you never know completely about your friends or even your relatives and what they are capable of.
I've had people walk by my truck and throw trash in the back of it and crammed trash through the half inch opening at the top of my window when I leave the window cracked open on a hot day. They could just as easily drop something incriminating into the vehicle as well. I work in one of the worst areas in town.
By the way do you ever check under your seats after friends or family have you ridden in your vehicle? I found a 4-inch folding buck knife in the door pocket on the passenger side a friend had put there when we took my truck to forage for firewood on a camping trip. I found it two weeks after the trip.

Back in 1971, when I was traveling by motorcycle from Texas to Calif for the first time, I saw signs about not entering Calif with oranges. As I was pulling into the Ag station with them, expecting to loose them, the inspector waved me through (who would be carrying fruit on a motorcycle???) so I went on my way and ate them later that day. California's orange crop survived my lawless ways..........

your Rv is your home, wheather for a day or for life. Certainly we all have the constitutional right to deny inspection or entry without a warrant. Within the USA
Key to inspections, in cross border, state or to nations is to always have the answer on the tip of your tongue, a hesitation raises the officers suspicion,
Rather than confront with the blatant, ask for what reason? diffuse before confrontation.
State laws of importation do not work. bugs and diseases do not know borders.Read about emerald ash borer

Been stopped at all of them entering California and never asked to be searched but was asked in the middle of nowhere New Mexico at a checkpoint on the way to Carlsbad. My wife's and my stories were believable so they just did the mirror inspection under the truck and trailer and sent us on our way.
