Well it looks like Chevrolet will introduce a 3 cylinder trailblazer with a optional pkg that will allow it to handle gravel roads. Just what GM needs another micro car, sorry SUV.

I thought Chevy obsoleted the Trailblazer years ago.

They resurrected the name. I guess it was better then calling it a Chevette. Standard engine is a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder with a optional 1.3 3 cylinder

Small SUVs (or more likely CUVs) have replaced small cars. They have to do something to meet CAFE requirements. And these vehicles sell.

^ Yeah those were cool. But hopefully it will also be a far cry from the previously, generally issue laden GMT 360 platform.

GM currently has issues as well with the DOD system taking the cam out in V-8 engines.

I thought that by the 2014 model year they had that figured out. I did the AFM delete on my truck and didn't notice a difference in mpgs.

Not sure of the affected year's my independent mechanic had his go out and he replaced the entire engine. His daughter's truck is new enough that had the same issue but is being repaired under factory warranty. The son of a carpenter I utilize has a Suburban that had the same issue. Ford had their cam phaser issue on the 5.4 and GM had the cam issue.

Maybe someone can enlighten us if the issue is resolved and what years are affected.

Updated in 2014 and up. Shouldn't be an issue.
