I have an array of solar LED decorations and the cops are gonna take me away? No ones gotten burnt yet!
Ha Ha,,Your camp site----"Hey get off of my lawn,,Shut up,, turn that light off,, Stop laughing,,stop the cooking smell,,Oh god you closed your door and I can hear it,, Keep all of those bicycles out of my way,,Don't talk when you play board games and for gods sake Stop Cheering when some one wins at Corn Hole"!! I Have Camped joyfully next to Crampers just like you,, I love it!! I actually sleep good at night and don't fret about the Yard lights on!!
And you wanna know my attitude about that?
Thats the way its supposed to be!! Are we not allowed to enjoy camping cause your a Cramper?
I don't work out of a cubical.. I serve the public, Even all my side jobs Serve the public in more ways than some.
So if I take all my Stuff, kids and dogs, firewood and beef and go camping,, Well I am going to be laughing allot and loudly! I am gonna have a large camp fire! I will smoke a Brisket or pork shoulder,,Drink allot of beer and whiskey, gonna go fishing, play allot of board games and Toss games,, like washer Toss or Corn hole, we will cheer and laugh,, kids will stay up way past their bed time,Dogs will bark, somebody will need to make a run to the store a few times, breakfasts will be busy,, some like scrambled some like dip eggs, but we will be outside and voices will travel, sure enough a day or two into it a relative will show up late and we will make room, hopefully they brought more firewood for the 24 hour fire going, who doesn't like Smores for breakfast?
So for you Crampers,, If i park next to you,,Enjoy,,I got a pulled pork sammy or a Smores for you,,I Got a beer or a drink for you,, feel free to pet the dog,,he's cool. Bring a chair and play "move Away" as we stoke the nights camp fire!
But for gods sake,, BREATH,, its all good! Chances of Me being in the same spot next year is GOOD!!

Ah yes, it's all about the "ME". Heck, why should a person ever be considerate of other people?

Yes maybe I'm inconsiderate. Or on the other hand, maybe its you, the "I don't like it so no one else can do it" type of person (All about "ME" and what I like).
If the campground rules aren't to your liking, find a different campground.

I have been told that lights UNDER the rig discourage insects and other pests. How true is this???? (Frankly I have no clue).

It’s far from a scientific conclusion, but, a group of us that routinely travel together are split between under coach LED lighting (white only) and the regular OEM ‘porch light’. It seems like the under body lighting attracts far less bugs, moths in particular.

What made builders think that those bright LED light strips on the front of trailers was a good idea? What purpose are they? JMO, but they are highly annoying.

I am with the minimalist crowd. A red rope light runs from the outlet by the steps & finishes wrapped around the 5er's pinbox. No excuse for walking into it.

As for the rest of outside lighting usually the only thing used is an old fashioned kerosene type lantern on the table or hanging somewhere. Amazing how well you can see once eyes adapt to available light.

Then there is light spillage from the camper lit up like Vegas nearby.

See, that's the issue, you only feel you have to obey "The Rules", not think about the other people. I've made no mention about having rules against lights, just that I prefer the dark.

The difference between us is that I have no desire to make rules to enforce how I feel since I realize that other people like to do things differently. It's just how I feel about it. I would prefer the dark, but don't intend to force my preferred way of doing things on others, unlike the people who light up their area like Times Square and don't care, or even think about anyone else.

The led lights on the front usually light up the brand name of the RV for advertising.

Well said jake2250!
But you’re upsetting the crampers over the Internet and they haven’t even had the pleasure of cramping next to you!
