Congratulations for a long RV life! Here is our hope for you to continue for many more years.

This is what caused me to quit traveling via our travel trailer two years ago at age 82. I loved to drive and sight see but had big problems doing all the things necessary to travel via a travel trailer like bending down to place chocks, hook up sewer, put down rugs etc. I parked it permanently in our family campground, out in the northern Michigan woods, where we enjoy it during he summer now. Sure do miss those warm, sunny Tampa days though.

All you young folks are giving us hope for the future!

For me one of the warning signs will be when I can no longer crawl around under the trailer to do some of my own repairs and when I no longer feel safe to work on my roof.

Such as this

Is not getting on the roof that is the issue, it is the transition from the roof to the ladder to get back down!!!!!!

You are absolutely right about that. Maybe just a bit of video cheating: I actually used the RV ladder at the rear (obviously not part of the edited video). The extension ladder had more to do with holding my hose as I recall.

Still blows me away that they don't have camping facilities there!

I realized I don't have any selfies with truck and 5er ...
this one's about the only one with the RV .. guess I'm itching to get hooked up and out of town to take one then, and once I'm unhooked, I'm too busy playing... guess I need to retire so I have more time for the hobbies

It's coming! Just another 10,000 emails from Dr. Piazza before it's done! To be fair - there's been more facility completed in the last 2-3 years than the prior 8 that I've been there.
You can boondock just outside the gate ... I haven't done that yet and settle for Saddle Sore ... I mean Saddle West.

Thanks! I got a bigger one 2 years later ... it's still with the taxidermist.

Of course, my wife's comment is the same comment that she makes on all the other stuff I drag home ...
