The only thing that jumps out at me is the white gadget in the lower right with the wires pinched under the trim board. I don't know what it is, but I don't like the way it's installed. Everything else looks pretty good although I don't know why they used a flex cable stub and plug for the generator connection instead of a box mounted plug.

Must say it is an odd looking inlet and I agree that pinched ribbon would bug me.

Manual transfer setup to let the RV power the home. Looks like a mechanical device to shut off all incoming breakers so power does not back feed to the utility company.

Typical backfeed setup with some interlocks to help reducing the chances of powering up the suicide cord.
