Gee, Ralph, can I watch you replace your controller from across the street with binoculars? Sounds fun [emoticon]

I have a better idea. You come over to the coast and do it and I'll "supervise". [emoticon] Won't be as bad as replacing the water pump last year, but still will require getting the old body into uncomfortable positions. [emoticon]
At my age all positions are uncomfortable[emoticon]

As part of quarantine - I took the 80 proof vodka from the camper and used it as internal disinfectant.

I admit it. I checked the camper. The liquor cabinet was already raided sometime over the winter months.

For camper activity... The usual spring maintenance. Wax exterior. Water battery. Drain the hot water tank and clean the anode. Defrosted freezer. Extend and lube the jacks. Snug up jack & tie down bolts. Power was out a few weeks back, so fired up the generator just to give it some exercise.

I guess that is all I have done for the RV. Camper lives in a heated shop, so no real coming-out-of-hibernation maintenance needed. Found my workbench for the first time in years. I was hanging on to an amazing amount of stuff that just needs to head to the trash can.

Yeah, I'm bored...

Have been hiking a lot for exercise since the gym is closed. One of the benefits of living in the sticks next to BLM land. Lots of old logging roads to discover and chart out. Even just busting out bottom-to-top reps on my own property - lowest to highest, a 13 minute round trip and about 200ft elevation gain.

Whew! For a minute there I thought this thread was going to be about hermetically sealing windows and installing gun turrets.

You haven't done those mods yet? Better get with it. I'm welding bars on the outside, MadMax style.[emoticon]

I was sitting on the back porch sipping bourbon and looked over at the Bigfoot in my "boat/RVjunkyard". The Classic Accessories cover was flopping in the breeze. I'm thinking I need to have the rear awning fabric replaced. I have the fabric (from Shadepro) but just can't seem to call the RV shop for an appointment. I should clean the hot water heater burner. I assume that is why I have soot on the camper side above it. Yeah, I've tinkered with the gas/air mixture.I should pull the jacks down and clean and grease them.
But what I really ought to do is load that thang up and go to Montana.

Is the quarantine giving you the best spots at the lakes?
Lot of states lower the restrictions today. Since my Sprinter is ready to operate and with today's fuel prices I can make it to East cost for about $150, I am eager to try it.

Replacing the 2 way fridge in our camper. 8 cubic foot Dometic will not fit through the door so I removed the back window. It had been plugged into shore power with the fridge running when I discovered some yellow fluid stains across the floor. I called a local tech who came out and declared it dead and a 3 person job to get it replaced.
Got it out myself by building a light frame of 2x 2 with plywood top and bottom set about 37" tall. Put a beach towel on the floor, slid the wood gurney through the window opening and tipped the fridge out. Very tight! Replacement should be here next week.
