When the food looks good in restaurant package that you place on your table, 1 of my neighbors reported on other site that he observed local grocery packer loading the food for local deliveries.
Not only he did not have mask, but he was blowing the bags open.
Go figure.

If you want to have take out, go for it. Just don’t think it’s possible to make it germ free. Whether you are worried about it is up to you. Fwiw, we have chosen to do without take out, but it’s probably no more germs that you get if you go to the grocery store.

I have to say Chinese and Pizza sounds pretty good about now. [emoticon]

I can work out making food germ free, but having mixed info we are getting our brains scrambles.
I can call delivery and have the guy put packages inside my patio refrigerator, where only I will touch the door.
Than in a day or even 2 I can pull the food out, dump the packages and heat it in microwave. But as already pointed, what was good yesterday is no longer good today.

No, not really. I was fortunate to take delivery of kielbasa right before whole pandemic started, so still have freezer full, but even I like it all the time, DW complains about kielbasa 5 times a week.
So my favorite Mongolian Beef looks better and better.
Than the Chinese restaurant we used before used to deliver for $2 and I wonder if they keep the price.
EDIT. I just check, when delivery is still $2, they don't take internet orders. Have to call them and practice my Mandarin.

I get the whole breath on you or sneeze on you thing.
But sanitizing the packaging and all that is paranoia. Where does it end? Is the CDC recommending sanitizing packages? Can I just throw the containers away and wash the dishes or do I need to burn everything in a pit.
I have to believe/trust the commercial kitchens are sanitary. Otherwise I will never eat out again virus or no virus.
By the way the OP's Chinese looks good. Hopefully your rig is not contaminated from the containers LOL.

Seriously as long as you are washing your hands regularly and thoroughly. You should be fine.
Don't lick the containers, don't lick your hands after handling the containers!

Thank you. Lunch was delicious.

Things are different where I live than around most of the country.

I will never quit shaking hands or hugging my close friends.

I enjoyed my adventure today and Carly was excited to see me and I was excited to see her. Today was a good day for both of us.

Some people are at high risk and some aren't.

Be careful out there and do what you feel that you need to do.

I do.
