I am assuming that the Powers-to-be are aware of the errors?

My temporary work around is to just hit "Recycle" or "Reload". About 90% of the time that works...

Could it be caused by too much traffic? I'm seeing it more and more when trying to post a reply. The trouble is often it actually does post the reply while giving me the error so I try it again and get another error. When I open the topic from the original email I received, I see my reply 3 times and there's no way to delete screw-ups like that.

I am also having that problem. I think it is due to overall increased internet usage.

The error message is coming from the Apache server software the forum runs on. Increased Internet usage shouldn't effect it.

Try a different "Portal"..

That is the answer when one Portal acts stupid, login to one of the other portals and try again.

RV.net has a rather unusual setup which has multiple branded entry points TO THE SAME FORUM! Each portal uses the same login and password but will present a slight different look, but in reality it is the same forum.

See information HERE which is sort of "hidden" in a sticky on the Forum technical help section..

You can stay logged in to multiple portals at the same time which makes it handy to switch when one fails..

Note, if you dump or clean the cookies from the browser on exit or "clean" the cookies you will have to relogin each time..

One thing I am finding.. Occasionally you press F5 (or the reload icon) and it comes up normally.. This forum did. And this message did.

The issue here is that this stuff has been going on for years AND NEVER GETS FIXED. No other site of any kind I visit ever does this over and over for years. If it isn't this particular error message it's some other one.
I just live with it and consider the source. After all it is free.
