Howdy, I want to warn this community about my experience. I called good sam yesterday, because I lost my card (wife still has hers) to check and verify my account status - before a long trip I will be taking. The person on the phone told me that while I am covered and my account is in good standing, MY MOTORHOME IS NO LONGER COVERED and I need to upgrade to premium for it to be covered. I was shocked. I am still covered for automobile travel but Not the Camper. Luckily I am making this long trip by car. But how can this happen. BE WARNED

Good Sam is sneaky. We noticed a credit card charge from them. Called them up and they had automatically renewed us without authorization. Told them to reverse it which they did. Immmefately switched to coach net. No worries since.

Think it changed (terrible memory, sorry) in 2017-2018 - you needed to upgrade for a few extra bucks to Platinum coverage for motorhomes, but the lower (normal RV) coverage was still good for towables. I had just renewed for 3 years just before the change, but they said I would still have motorhome coverage for that period.

I have had coach net for several years and they have been top notch. Good Sams is sneaky about things.

joined good sam roadside assistance online in may and still have not recieved any paperwork as requested and was told to use my temporary card which says its not valid. Not happy with service and my online questions go unanswered. After reading previous posts I guess its time to check out Coachnet.Whats up with this Marcus Lemonis?
