This is very concerning to us as we are thinking about leaving for a trip to get away from it all in a couple of weeks. Although we plan to stay quite a bit east of there, we still have this fear of being quarantined for 14 days crossing a state or two.
Where would be the best place to find this info, as things seem to change daily.

Your best bet is to look up each state's travel restrictions as you get closer to your trip. They can and DO change on a daily basis. There is really no one site that is updated for all states, real time. That's why checking each individual state's official website will be your most reliable source of income.

You especially don't want to rely on a social or "unofficial" website for timely, correct, and relevant info.

There are lots of discussions right now on some of the FB RV groups I follow where people are asking "how is the trip from X to Y state? Did you have any quarantine issues?". The responses are primarily from people who traveled into state Y weeks ago, and usually not from state X, nor a route through intermediate states when one might have to overnight (and run into issues).

On a trip home to NM from CA in late March, early April, there were lots of closed gas stations in remote locations, closed RV parks, businesses, but, it really didn't matter because I knew where the open forest land is, and I could always find gas. It's difficult to close public forest land, and no cops were coming around rousting me out. There was very little traffic at that time because everyone was sorta scared to go, but it was fine. The luxury of not needing hookups.

Unless I hear otherwise, I'm going to assume, and hope it's the same in October.

I'd like to see anyone try to quarantine my wife and I. I'd like to see anybody try to restrict my movements. I won't put up with it. We're in Branson, MO for a week and having a marvelous time. No masks required. Social distancing is requested but at the firework show last night no one was doing it. I love it here but will have to return to the People's Republic of Tucson and the socialist, activist mayor.

Last year in the US there were 19 million known cases of the ordinary flu. This covid bug is also going to have millions of cases so just get every one exposed to it, get herd immunity, and get it over with. It's not a death sentence, after all, as too many people think it is. It's proven that the covid numbers are highly inflated as the hospitals are getting paid thousands for every covid case they can come up with.

Why don't you just move on and take your nonsense with you before you get this thread locked also. [emoticon]

The RV Park owners are working with folks traveling. We hit Colorado 6/1 and was told we had to self quarantine for 5 days, so I asked can we ride the jeep trails, no problems. Also went to WalMart to stock up parked in the parking lot with the Calif plates screaming, wore a mask while in the store unlike most that didn't. Back out to the jeep and not an officer in site, leads me to believe no knows how to enforce the rules laid down by peeps who have never been to a RV Park. Safe travels, we head out to Red River NM mid Aug
