Are you going to Florida this fall with the COVID 19 down there? Thanks

Wouldn’t consider it but California isn’t much better.

I was in Florida last spring when the state closed down all state parks and campgrounds. I camp mostly in the Florida Water Management District campgrounds so I had to quickly find different accommodations. Luckily a few of the national park campgrounds remained open.

I will see how things are shaping up this fall and then decide. If campgrounds are open it's likely they will be more crowded and hard to find campsites. If that's the case I'll head for Arizona.

If that be the case, keep your eye on Arizona too, because as of 2 days ago, Arizona had a good number more cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 population than Florida did.

We are taking a wait and see attitude. Currently in the county where we stay in Florida the infection rate is 10 times what it is in our home location and it's getting worse. So things don't look promising for this coming winter.

Keep away from South Florida, Miami Dade, and there is no more COVID than many other areas of the country. I live on the West Coast and we still go to restaurants and my bowling league has been going on for the past few months with no problems. Just use a little common sense and don't swap spit with strangers.

No, staying home until there's a vaccine that ends this pandemic.

Everyone - just be careful. The science tells us what to do and not do. As of today, most private CG are open, and Glamping carefully is probably the "safest" of things you could do.
