Moderator...if this is the wrong forum I apologize!
DH and I are rethinking how we travel. He has a full size CPAP but we are thinking that a travel size might be better for those times we sleep...or nap...in the back of the truck.
Anyone use these? Pro's and Cons's??

Big or small both CPAP and BICAP and there is one other if I recall right.
The big ones generally eat 120VAC
But the smaller ones often eat 12VDC and some come with a CAR CORD.
Now I"m not that keen on car cords (less you find a way to make sure it does not come out of the socket. Some are well designed in this respect) but for RVers That's what I'd suggest.
Check with ye old manufacturers
WHERE TO GET 12 VOLTS
On both sides of my bed are 12 volt bedside lamps.. I removed. tapped into the wires. mounted a socket next to the lamp. Replaced lamp after "notching" the base to pass the wire to the socket.
Home is where I park it.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios
Kenwood TS-2000, ICOM ID-5100, ID-51A+2, ID-880 REF030C most times

I am also a long time CPAP User and to answer your question as best that I can. Over the years I have had three CPAP and all were large, one given by the VA. Like you, I had come upon travel issues and we enjoy College sporting events and do a lot of away stays. By accident, I had a CPAP issue while away from home and was in big need of parts. But there are companies like this one in Florida called "CPAP My Way" 888-603-7379. Not only did I walkway with the parts I also got a smaller machine for travel I got the DREAM STATION 1/3 the size. You done need to clean and for that I use and love the SO CLEAN. But Good Luck with whatever you do.
CPAP My-Way
Rolling along singing a song in my RV. Because I'm me and free-rolling along the highways, meeting new friends who like me are FREE rolling along in our RVs with me on a new road every day. Sweet is the smells outdoors in my RV. Just rolling along.

Direct Home Medical (DHM) lists the most worthwhile compact CPAPS and they are a verytrustworthy site. Use the following post - I want to remove this but don't know how.

CPAP My-Way
Here in KC area, we use AeroCare (Insurance approved), but have used CPAP Supply off an on for years too. Florida is a lot more lenient in getting CPAP supplies than MO. What do you like about the SO CLEAN. I've been thinking about that for DH...he's the user. cts
