AnEv942 wrote: Added umbilical cord caps, made hangers so cords hang vertically
Recently had issue with corrosion again on auxiliary umbilical cord.
(2nd umbilical cord- back up camera, refer control & aux. charge line, AC cord to run refer on trucks inverter)
Though usually bungied up under camper they are exposed to the air can and do corrode. After cleaning
I looked at how to avoid this I stumbled on cord caps, I was unaware these could be had.

Issue though if cord is simply hung caps can fill with water and corrosion will be worse so cords need to
hang vertically with cap up.
I simply bent up some scrap 2" aluminum flat bar, Drilled hole cut slot to capture cords.
Drilled for mounting and bent the tips up a bit.
As umbilcal cords are stiff had to mount hangers at angle. Bedded in caulk and screwed to wall.
Caps should minimize future corrosion, hung against camper wall so wont need to stop when
loading/unloading to reposition cords, easy retrieval to plug in once camper loaded.

Likely other brands-just what I used
Very nice . What made you decide to keep the umbilical cables as attached cables vs adding plugs on the camper, allow for the cable to be completely removed and stored when not in use?

Mostly expense plus finding a place to store (and the time involved
Though I could justify changing out the shore cord

What happened to your display monitor? It needs a thorough cleaning.

Installed a Victron Energy Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-Volt 30 amp 360-Watt DC-DC Charger behind the drawers in my AF 992
Here's the details.
And here's the details on the heavy gauge wiring from the truck to the camper

I travel solo, so having a Net connection at a campsite gives me something else to do. To increase the chance of having a cell Net connection in the boonies, I installed a weBoost cell booster system. Confirmed it does increase the strength via my phone "bar meter", but haven't had a chance to get a dBm reading yet.
Photos are:
1) Booster antenna in the up position when at a campsite
2) Antenna at the down position when traveling or exiting a woody campsite
3) Inside electronics hookup. Kit came with longer cables than I need, so the excess is hidden behind the seat cushions. I only had one cig lighter output where I wanted to install the system, that I plugged a USB charger into. So, I installed a device with multiple 12v and USB outputs.
Will be hitting the road in early June for several months, so the booster will get plenty of use. ![smile [emoticon]](http://www.rv.net/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)

added 2- 195 watt solar panels in series mounted on the roof rack via strut, added a 100 watt panel in series with the existing 100 watt factory panel, tied both series panel strings in parallel, installed a Victron 100/50 MPPT solar charge controller. put a 30 amp breaker between the solar panels and the Victron charge controller, ran new 6 gauge wire between the charge controller and batteries, installed a 50 amp breaker between the batteries and the charge controller.
