I have a long list of things to fix on our aging Lance. Seriously thinking its time to start over. 16 yrs, 45 states, 100k miles well over 600ights in it, it doesn't owe us anything.

My Northstar Igloo is 15 years old, 42 States, 100K miles, 2 years of full time use and several hundred nights in addition. It is in like new condition with nothing needing to be fixed. I have even run out of ideas for mods.

I've spent close to $5000 on my 25 year old Lance after purchasing it in July 2019. And it still needs a few minor repairs. [emoticon]

that is a sweet camper. Thanks you inspired me to keep this one up. I just get tired of fixing stuff all the time. We live in a 125 year old Victorian house which always needs some work. Just gets old working on the camper too. For us the 1010 is the best desgin. But the wife is thinking new so we shall see. Getting older early 50s now, she wants a slide out etc. She mentioned a TT or 5th wheel but im no whwere ready for that style of camping. I love the TC camper so flexible and easy.

Thank you. Its a lot more camper and a lot nicer than I had hoped for.

I found one structurally sound with a built in generator which was a priority.

I still feel like I'm camping.

It has worked out perfect for me.

forgot to mention our first camper was a lance 915. was a great camper but it got damaged in an accident. Good move with the onan, we had a generac in the 1010 and it was a POS and eventually I just pulled it out.

Anyway working on getting the parts now I need to fix things. none of which are major just annoying. The one dumb thing I did was took the key for all the compartment locks to the hardware store to get a few more cut. I managed to lose them all ugh so need to replace them too. That one is straight up my fault.

Closed all the vents and put in the 110V automatic temp heater to keep the interior warm during the cold evening temps.

Spent the day cleaning up all the roof and nose cap seams, solar panel mounts, vent and skylight seals with a rag and mineral spirits. I only found a few areas with minor surface cracks in the dicor so I just did and overlay with fresh Dicor, Self Leveling for the flats and non sag for the nose cap. I'm now ready for the winter camping season.
