Once our grand daughter figured out we had a potty in trailer when traveling, we had to make frequent stops that trip. Explained beforehand for the next trip that we were not stopping every 20 minutes... works well if there is safe place to pull off.

I always use my RV toilet and shower even at a campground. That's what they're for. [emoticon]

Like someone above we once used our 5er bathroom sitting on I-40 near the Texas/New Mexico line after being stopped for over an hour due to a major accident two miles ahead of us. I was glad no one asked if they could. Probably would have said yes, but glad it didn’t come up. Very remote with no exits to get off I-40 and not many bushes around. [emoticon]

We were thankful to have a full fresh water tank when we had to sit on the Sterling Hwy for 23 hours last August waiting for firefighters to get the wildfire under control before we could proceed.

It's great, especially with kids. It significantly cuts down on our longer travel trips when we can get gas, they can pee and we can eat; all without really needing to go inside.

I do agree that having a model with everything accessible with the slide in is clutch. We push it out if we are going to eat in there, but just for the bathroom, we leave it as is.
