Might be worth a few dollars to have an attorney send them a letter. Unseen defects are usually covered for an additional time period. Good luck.

8 years old. Far from Keystones issue. Maybe something shifted during that time. Maybe driving down a rough road dislodged something? Point is anything could've caused it. Fix it and move on is the best advice.

Its a **** shame they don't care about quality or craftsmenship. They are willing to finance a new travel trailer for 15 years. You pay a premium price for a new unit and its thrown together.

You should have investigated how bad rv’s are before buying it. Now this many years later you are here wanting a bandwagon? Please, you’ve gotten off easy if this is your main problem. Lol

I think the magic word here is KEYSTONE. Been there, got the shirt.
Hopefully, there are a couple other RV makers out there that actually care.

There are not. The OP could have bought any brand RV and had the same experience. Title of thread should be "Beware of RV Quality."

Yep, all to common with RV's.

Another well known manufacturer had their fresh water tanks completely detaching from RV during travel.

We keep buying them.

^^^^^ THIS ^^^^
If you have read this forum for any significant amount of time, you know that it is not limited to Keystone. All the brands get bad reports sooner or later, even the so called high end (and high dollar) brands.

Don't even waste your time calling. It's 8 years old -- the manufacturer's defense will be for you to prove it was that way when it left the factory, not after 8 years of use. As another poster mentioned, something could have shifted, especially over 8 years. Odd that it took the problem that long to surface. Pay for it to be fixed and move on. This is one of those "pick your battles" situations.
