I bought several of Camco hoses in different to use around my house. I had noticed the awful plastic smell of the water that comes out of hoses that have been exposed to sunlight, so I thought the rating as a drinking water hose with UV stabilizers would make this a durable hose. These hoses don't sit in the sun all day, as the sun moves across the sky, leaving them in shade half the day. Starting last year, after 3 years in service, these hoses discolored badly and gave the water the same bad plastic smell of a regular garden hose.
