I just installed brand new sw6p water heater and all went fine. Filled tank, lit pilot, burner came on, then a small trickle of water started coming out of burner tube. What's up with that??

Not sure. Did the leak continue after five minutes or so? Post a picture.

Sounds like a warranty issue.

Usually happens on older rusty water heaters

That is a failure in production (over penetration during welding)

Definitely warranty issue

Only happens when burner is fired up. I'll post a pic when I figure out how.

The metal expands/warps from heat, warranty issue.
