120 days and counting in my 22' trailer.

June 1 onsite.

I started running my generator to run a baseboard heater before bed.....but other than than I have survived with 2 40W solar panels charging my 2 6V batteries.
I'm in the process of building a house North of Montreal. One of the rules is that you need a porta pottie onsite.
So I've been using that.....thus the trailer hasn't moved.
I get my water from the lake and dump my gray water behind the trailer.
All good....but I have another 6 weeks to go.......brrrr.....

Your living the good life my friend.

You need to look up Bob's Your Uncle on other parts of this site and ask him about winter camping in Canada. He has some good stories about melted butter in the heat ducts and frozen underwear. [emoticon]

The objective of a solar system is not to need a generator except for AC. The failure of an inadequate solar system is proven by the need to run your generator every day for an hour.

But you sound like your cherish the opportunity to complain about it....
Don’t need to worry about camping near it as I doubt the OP would invite you to his property anyway after your post judging him. Lol

Snip...

There should not be another camper after him since he is on his own property next to his home he is building. At least that is how I read his post.

Everyday that it dropped below 40F....which has been maybe 7 days total out of 125 days.

And I have yet to run my AC.......I enjoyed the summer heat.

That looks like it's going to be a beautiful house -- congratulations!! Is that a metal roof?
