I have a stack 3" thick but so far, I haven't been able to find the manual for the thermostat.

Finally, through failing to find any other fault, ordered the replacement thermostat for $87. If I'm wrong, I remember, I'm spending my kid's money.

You are aware that there is thermostats that are direct replacements locally?
I switched out to a programmable LUX.

I don't like to go into stores, right now and I already know that Camping World would be $110+. I hope I can replace wire for wire with the same thermostat. We'll see. My noisy heat pump still works if the temp stays above 40. Much below 40 I'll probably stay home.

I can't see how to select between gas heat and and heat pump. I don't think this would work with my system.

It still doesn't allow you to choose between gas heat and electric heat.

OK. It appears that a wiring change would be required. I assume this extra switch would go above or below the thermostat.

I ordered one just like the one I had. I need SIMPLE and I hope that's what I am getting.
