We have been thing about upgrading from our 2007 Allergo 32Ba with the V10 Ford to a diesel, and have looked at a 2008 Tiffin Allegro BAY 37 QDB with a front engine 340 Cummins.
I would like info from people that have this same unit, the engine (and yes I know a diesel is louder than a gas burner) sounded very loud to me even at idle, how loud is it driving on the road?

Drive it on the road including a hill and confirm the noise level.

I once owned a Newmar FRED. At idle it was a bit noisier than my second coach at idle (V-10) Fleetwood but climbing a hill the turbo was still quieter than the Ford during high Revs. A diesel with the radiator in front of it is a better design than behind for cooling but a lot louder when that turbo kicks in. All in all I think they a great chassis and mileage was much better.
