The wife says I have selective hearing, but I do recall hearing better twenty years ago.

Anyone out there tried the EARGO (in canal) hearing aids?

If so, how do you like them? Thinking it might be time to investigate, especially if I start driving a Class A.

Thanks,

Skip

IMO "one size fits all", in most things, rarely does. Many things factor in to how well a particular hearing aid will work. Get a hearing test from a reputable clinic/audiologist, and go from there.

Thanks AJR for the Costco post. I've been doing lots of research since I'm getting really tired of missing about half of my grandkids statements and have been impressed with the Costco reviews. Plus, they're about half or less than many "major" brands and have more favorable reviews. I'll be making an appointment after the first of the year.

Due to the volume, Costco is the largest seller of hearing aids in the country. They get tremendous discounts and do not sell on commission

FWIW, I tried the Costco brand, and they didn't work for me. It could have been the technician, not an audiologist, or the hearing aids, but I was not happy. Costco uses different companies different years for their Costco brand hearing aids. But the ones I tried just weren't comparable to the ones I was using and wanting to replace, let alone a better choice.

I ended up with Oticon, for about double the price. But sometimes you get what works best, and just bite the bullet.

I love my hearing aids, but hate it when I go to take my Covid mask off and the tiny tubes get tangled in the masks strings.
I am now to the point where before the mask goes on the hearing aids come off and don't go back on until the mask comes off
