One thing about binos is they are like shoes, one size does NOT fit all! No matter how much you spend. There are a lot of variables, so before buying, try them on.

one other note if you need to wear glasses make sure that the binos will work with them

Depends on what you want to use them for.
For wildlife viewing you have to spend some money to get good light gathering properties.
Most hunters have pretty good optics.
Birders have the best optics around and they are usually pretty knowledgeable about them.
Decent binocs start around $500 and go as high as you want to go.
