Can no longer post. The damned Captcha is back with blurry pictures so you can never get through it and then I get the message in the subject. I’m ready to give up on this forum. Are the admins trying to drive people away?

The forum has lost my reply so many times I’ve given up on replying directly to it. Instead, I type my reply into MS Word and then copy and paste it to the forum. That way when the forum sends the reply to La La Land, I still have the original so I can copy, paste, and try again.

I don't ever have any of the problems you are talking about.
If you use a square bracket, it will give you that error.
As far as the CAPCHA goes, it's it out of my control but again I can't make it to happen. That seems to come up off and on throughout the last few years.
I know it's used internally for security but but not in the forums ????

I got locked out because of the CAPCHA twice yesterday and once this morning. Some of those pictures that you are suppose to choice from are darn complicated and vague that I can't decide if they are a "bicycle" or whatever or not. I obviously guess wrong and then I have to try again and again until I finally guess right. I am on four other forums daily and NEVER run into this darn CAPCHA. I have the box "Stay Logged In" on all my forums checked. Now this forum requires me to "Log In" just to read a post. When I finally get to enter my password, it accepts it immediately and shows that the "Stay Logged In" box is still checked. What a pain in the fanny.

The Forums are apparently using CloudFlare.com (CF) as a reverse proxy largely for web security reasons. This would be the source of the Captcha challenge/response and looks as if CF is using hCaptcha when a rule is triggered. One of the top reason being bot rules as indicated by CF chart:
Though it's certainly possible to review and adjust CF management rules, it's not likely to go away. You may want to complain directly to CF and hCaptcha to change their photo based method? Thank you for the reply. However the above reference is OVER my head so it doesn't help one bit.
I have visited RV.net almost daily for many years and gained a lot of good information. Then I had the issue with my replies going to La La Land (as stated a few replies above) and now this picture challenge is TOO GREAT. I hate to leave but I am very frustrated.
