Just got the second issue, worse than the first. I want to know about RV's and tech issues, not how to plan a honeymoon. Total waste of money.

Like others have said I got the second edition of the magazine last Friday
and I don't see much improvement.

My subscription goes to Feb 2023, so if I don't see a marked improvement
soon I guess I'll be cancelling too. Sad, like others I have some issues
going back many years.

Maybe we need to give old Marcus Lemonis a call and let him know he needs
to make some changes (bring back Tech etc.) he says in his ads on Camping
World that he is just a phone call away.

Thanks....just used the Link to ask to have my subscription cancelled. Plus, told them what I thought of their Camping World ad magazine. Marcus Lemonis ruins everything he touches!

Sure miss Trailer Life....

The New RV magazine appears as though the target audience is the Elite RV'er, not the casual weekend RV'er.

So much yes & is part of my pet-peeves with the state of RVing nowadays. Today, the weekender / 2-week RV vacationers are treated like red-headed step children in so many areas of the RVing culture. It's like if you're not a full-timer you're a 2nd class citizen dirtbag. Magazines, YouTube videos, & the social clubs seem to either act like weekenders don't exist or thumb their noses at em. Funny to me as I would think the vast majority of full-timers were weekenders first.

I just received my second edition of the New RV mag. It is still a huge disappointment. I started out with Camper Coachman and now about 35 years later it has evolved to this mess. No more letters, no tech columns, no 10 minute tech, no useful information. Imagine taking the beautiful porterhouse steak to the mountains and cooking it over a campfire? I didn't realize Robert Irvine (who I like) didn't know anything about camp cooking.
Anyway, I will give them a couple more issues before I ask for my money back. Shape up or ship out rv. mag!

Good call.

I don't know that anyone from the magazine is viewing the threads here in this forum.

RE: RV Magazine

I have been an avid reader of Trailer Life magazine since I bought my first RV in 2017 reading each issue cover-to-cover. In fact, I have recommended it to several friends who were also newer RV owners. The sections of Trailer Life that I enjoyed the most were the "10 Minute Tech" and "RV Clinic". I am very disappointed to see that they have been eliminated in the new magazine. Whereas, I can certainly understand the need to increase marketing pieces and ads to boost revenue, I feel that it is a great mistake to eliminate the best portions of the prior magazine at the same time. I have noticed that the latest issue of RV mag is roughly twice the thickness of the October issue that I am now comparing it to. I'm ok with thicker and also with having to wade through ads thinly disguised as articles, but please bring back "10 minute tech" and "RV Clinic". While reading in this forum, it appeared as though other long time readers are about to become former subscribers over this same issue.
