Of course not. You are perfectly ok to drive at the age of 69 and 364 days but on your 70th birthday you automatically become a danger to yourself and others. Best to lie about your age...stay 69 forever and keep rving!

Am 77 and just drove 5-600 miles in our Class C to camp out at daughter's family house in AZ. Answer to your question-Nope!

I'll be 80 this year. Just drove the RV (a truck camper) 4,100 miles from Seattle to Fort Myers Florida with lots of camping along the way. I'll be driving it back in April. No worries.

Why 70? It's just an arbitrary number.

There are folks that are fit as a fiddle at 70 and beyond (as witnessed by a bunch of folks on here). And there are folks that probably shouldn't be driving anything at 40. Depends on one's health, both physical and mental. THAT should be the determining factor, not some random number.
