A few in the RGV (Rio Grande Valley of Texas) have been given the first shot. Not nearly enough. Not me, unfortunately.

I'm hearing and hoping I can use H-E-B Pharmacies in San Antonio/ RGV for the two doses.
Understand we do not need to go back to the same place to get the second shot. Might be difficult because we don't plan three weeks in the same place this winter.
EDIT - Just checked again. Currently out of vaccine at HEB, waiting for next shipment.

The vaccines are paid for by the Federal Gvmt., so here in Fla. snowbirds are getting vaccinated.

I think the problem is nobody is grabbing the bull by the horns. Citizens don't know who will notify them when it's their turn, or even IF they will get notified. We got our Shingles vaccine yesterday, and the pharmacist hadn't gotten her coronavirus vaccine yet and had no idea when she would. That seems to be the entire situation.

I'm 84 with two clots in each lung, and my wife is 83. We are in Florida and still have not been able to get on any list here in Monroe county

My sister and brother in law are over 65 in Sarasota County Florida, and can't get on any list either. They are told no vaccines available. Apparently, according to my sister, they have basically frozen the list across Florida.
