Hello,
We purchased out first travel trailer and will begin to use it this summer. I am just gathering a list of everything that is needed. we will not be doing any boondocking, just full hookups at sites. Thanks for any help.

parking chocks
Levelers
A good sewer hose and a good support like a slunky
Disposable gloves and hand cleaner
A clear hose connector to visually see when your tank is empty or running clear
Holding tank treatment
Just some basics, but there is so much more. Create a good checklist using Excel for yourself and use it for every single trip. Make a menu plan on one side and ingredients list on the other, add things to do at the house before leaving such as stop mail, set light timers, turn off water to all toilets, washing machine, and ice maker, etc.

Along with some basic tools make sure you have two pairs of channel lock pliars (for connecting and disconnecting your water hose)
I always had a pair of leather work glove for hitching and unhitching and handling the sway bar and load levers.
Some rags for cleaning off your hose, and electrical cord before putting it away.

Yeah I was trying to see what I can get away with for at least our first trip and go from there.
Here's what I came up with also. Pretty much everything you just said, I just dont want to miss anything.
Wheel Chocks
Leveling blocks
Sewer hose with support and clear connector
white rv fresh water hose
water pressure regulator valve
water filter
rv extension cord
holding tank treatment
surge protector?
If you can think of anything else, let me know.

Aside from what was mentioned above you will need a good sense of humor. Things will break, you think you will plan for everything, use 10% of that and forget something you need on almost every trip. I probably have 6 can openers because I forget one on every trip and keep buying new ones. And I have been RV'ing for decades. You have to watch your weight on carrying things you won't need just to have it. A few trips and you'll sort out what you need. Stick to the basics for now and learn as you go. But without a sense of humor when you realize you forgot something, or something breaks, then the fun is lost. Most fellow campers are helpful and you can usually get by with intuition, help from a fellow camper or a trip to the store.

A good like this will help you learn RV Repair and maintenance
Make a list of appliances make and models to assist on operation and repair.
Look at your 12 volt DC power distribution panel make a list of fuses and buy them, not a variety pack
Screw driver like the four or six way from Harbor Freight Screwdriver
An in expensive multimeter. Read through instructions and learn basic operation. Multimeter

When you get it home Camp in it on your driveway for a day. You'll quickly discover what you need.

I will steel someonelses recomendations, but bring a pad and a pen. Jot down what you need or forgot while you camp. Go from there, many buy tons of things they think they need only to find out they dont use them at all.
