Thanks 94... I hadn't thought of that. I'll keep trying I'm just trying to see if that is an LED bulb or not. But I still want to be able to get in there. BTW an interesting discovery I made was on the celling fan bulb globes had rubber bands around them where they mount to the fixture. I wonder if that was factory to keep them from vibrating loose or ... dealer / last owner / ...? seems like a good idea in any event...

Well it warmed up enough for me to get back in the camper and try that light again. It was pretty warm inside and that may have helped but I got the whole glass dome to turn a bit and finally got it off. It has LEDs so all is well and I am happy now. Best of all no breakage. (-:
