I get a kick out of some of the warnings food companies print on their products. On frozen meals is the warning, "Be careful, it's hot!"
Well, I would expect the meal to be hot after cooking. It would be difficult to eat frozen! I guess fear of liability must be the cause.
There are many other examples of products with ambiguous warnings, but I can't think of any at the moment.

Almost every warning label is there because some ID 10 T did that stupid thing. And sued the company. Not necessarily that particular company.
Remember the famed McDonald's hot coffee law suit. Now, she did not get millions, the judge knocked it down at $640,000, and the two sides settled for an undisclosed amount.
And the lady had serious injuries - 8 days in the hospital with 3rd degree burns that required skin grafts.
But McDonalds has spent tens of millions defending such lawsuits, along with many others.

Sadly every cases is a real law suit.
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
after a semi "nicked" it. Still have the radios

My last class in college was on business ethics. We studied the original case that started the warning labels. A man was mowing his law while his young son and new baby where outside. He went inside, left the mower running and his son decided to be "daddy's little helper" and proceeded to run over the baby. The parents sued and the rest is history. This is also why they now have dead man switches.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be Douglas Adams
RV-less for now but our spirits are still on the open road.

On the back of my boat at the boarding ladder is a warning that says
“Caution, contact with rotating propellers may cause serious injury or death”

My favorite absurdity is the warning on the sunscreens that go into the front windshield of an automobile:
"Do not drive with sunshade in place."
