I made this for my truck camper a while back.
The new setup makes the outdoor shower much more practical than a hose and a trigger operate spray nozzle like you wash your RV with.
This system is much more user friendly.
A better outside shower head.

Looks like it would work well if the water source is high enough.

I'd want a short hose to be able to make it practical.

Yep, our former Class C had an outside shower with a hose and handheld head. The only mod we made was adding a bracket at an appropriate height on the wall for hair washing, etc.

Yep, Which is only the case on a truck camper. All other RVs typically have the shower at knee or waist level, which make them good for washing your feet or the dog, and that is all.

wow. I feel dumb for not thinking of it myself.
I like it bc it gets ride of the hose.
I have the threaded hose type, but the threads point straight out. Imma have to go tinker with mine now...

Can you post the parts you used? Did you just modify your existing shower head? I've seen replacement kits that give you the QD, a hose and the spray head, but they are pretty expensive for what you get (same plastic handles and a plastic QD kit).
I'd be curious if I could modify my existing shower valve for cheaper AND use metal parts.

It's a quick disconnect fitting made for this shower valve, with garden hose threads on the other end. RV suppliers sell it.

No, I didn't modify anything. There was no shower head with this shower valve. It was a blue coiled hose with a quick disconnect fitting permanently attached to the hose.
I bought a garden hose nozzle (the red nozzle) in the lawn and garden hose section at a hardware store. The brand is DRAMM

Oh, gotcha. I've been looking at the shower valve with QD, can't justify the cost for the plastic parts right now. Thanks.
