Lead acid batteries do not reach their full capacity until they are cycled 25 to 30 times. This makes the whole test invalid from the get go.
The cold weather test was a joke if you live pretty much anywhere in Canada.
I find it hard to believe that they would not use temperature compensated charging with sensors on the batteries.
What about hot weather testing? Damage on LiFePo4 starts at 86 f, and they should not be charged when the temperature is 113 f.
They also did not test what is possibly the best of the lead acid formats which may be SiO2. SiO2 have a much lower Pukert number than most other batteries.

where did you get that? all the specs I have read on lfp say 60C for not charging them anymore and the normal operating range for max temp is 40 to 50C. would kinda be usless if you were dammaging them at a little bit above room temp dont you think?

I got that from one of the sellers pages. Heat and Li don't party well together.
Here it is with the source:
"To sum up, for long and happy LFP battery life, in order of importance, you should be mindful of the following:
Keep the battery temperature under 45 C (113 f) (under 30C if possible (86 f)) – This is by far the most important!
Keep charge and discharge currents under 0.5C (0.2C preferred)
Keep battery temperature above 0 C (32 f) when discharging if possible – This, and everything below, is nowhere near as important as the first two
Do not cycle below 10% – 15% SOC unless you really need to
Do not float the battery at 100% SOC if possible
Do not charge to 100% SOC if you do not need it"

From my perspective I found that the test was interesting though not surprising since (for those who have ‘actually’ switched from wet-cell to LiFePo4) it merely validates our real-world, non-theoretical experiences with now some actual empirical data - ‘Shoot the messenger’ comes to mind (let the ‘battery wars’ begin!!”) - it seems that thread after thread the LiFePo4 deniers (ATTACKS) are limited to the SiO2 camp, who have even denied LiFePo4’s lower internal resistance (thus, optimizing solar peak period harvest)...I can’t help but find this theme (abject bias) curious?

We had a run of AGM claims for "5 x faster" too.
--3 tons, do you have measurements of your solar harvest from before you got LFPs and from afterwards, with same conditions, so we can "see your work" and do a peer review on that?

12v 500ah (5,120Wh usable), 20 cells_ 4s5p (GBS LFMP battery system). 8 CTI 160 watt panels (1,280 watts)2s4p,Panels mounted flat. Magnum PT100 SCC, Magnum 3012 hybrid inverter, ME-ARC 50. Installed 4/2016 been on 24/7/365, daily 35-40% DOD 1,600+ cycles.

All Manufacturer’s all make marketing claims...Though I believe that SiO2 are a viable competing alternative (as I’ve elsewhere stated...), I doubt that SiO2 vendor’s enjoy an exemption...
